Cruciferous Vegetables

A blend of cruciferous vegetables (green, leafy vegatables) contains nutrients that have been shown to guard against cancer. They are all excellent sources of vitamins, minerals and fiber, but what makes them unique are their phytochemicals. It is those phytochemicals that are the main reason for the cancer preventing abilities of cruciferous vegetables. The supplemental use of certain phytonutrients from cruciferous vegetables has great potential for the prevention of human cancer.
